The architecture of the Lecco’s new Fire Station building is ispired by the surrounding landscape.
Its peculiar staggered pitched roofs recall at the same time the morphology of the Prealps and the typical architecture of lake building creating a new architectural landscape.
The plano-volumetric articulation is designed to enhance the project-area features allowing an optimal and flexible organization of both spaces and flows.
The interiors of the two main bodies and of the suspended transverse volume are designed to be in a continuous visual relationship with the external environment in which they are embedded.
The innovative design merged with the cutting-edge technological choices, such as defining the correct orientation, choosing innovative construction material and energy systems, are able to obtain at the same time high durability and low energy consumption.
