The project consists of a shelter and viewing platform for tourists and locals observing the landscape and fauna.

The Tipper peninsula is a deserted monotonous landscape that stretches towards the horizon in every direction.  A small group of trees mark the end of a road commonly used by visitors of the area. When you arrive the place has a feeling similar to that of standing at the end of a bridge overlooking the empty landscape.

We choose to create one simple structure that would define this feeling through a framing of the landscape and light.

Upon entering, you will find the main space of the structure where you will be enclosed in a room that provides shelter from the harsh winds. Three openings in the space provide a precise framed view of the surrounding landscape.

As you ascend toward the viewing platform the roof narrows to a slit functioning as a binocular for the open skies where only clouds and birds can be seen.

At last, the viewing platform opens up.  This is where you feel the wind and experience the landscape in its entirety.
